You want to acquire a pistol but you’re unsure what to get, how to go about it, and you’re looking for some help. We got you covered. We will spend time with you at the range, in the store, and walk you through the process of obtaining your Purchase Permit.
So how does this work?
This is a pretty fluid package. In that, we have some options to achieve our goal.
The gist:
Walk you through the process of obtaining a Purchase Permit.
In Nebraska, if you wish to purchase a pistol, you need a Purchase Permit or Concealed Handgun Permit. The fastest option for you is to go the Purchase Permit route.
Once you register for this package, we can begin dialoguing via email or phone and walking you through the steps for getting your permit. Those steps vary depending on where you live.
If you live in Iowa, you no longer need a permit, but the details below still apply to you.
1 on 1 day at a range.
We can hit up an indoor range with pistol rentals. If so, you pay your own costs for range time, ammo and rental fees at the location. Plus side of this, you get to try a lot of different pistols and see what you like. The BEST way to figure out what you like and don’t like is to try it before you buy it.
Second option is to hit up an outdoor range that Woodline has membership to. Woodline can bring out a few of our pistols for you to try but our supply is quite limited. Plus side of this, there is no range or rental fee for you. However, you would need to bring your own ammo. We could discuss what ammo you should buy, etc.
Shop with you.
Once you have your permit, Jake will spend part of a day shopping with you. Yes, literally going with you to the store, or stores, to offer advice and insights for the pistols you are considering. You’ve been to the range together and gotten a feel for what you like. That will be our starting point for finding you the right fit. Something you’re happy with. Once you get one picked out, he’ll be there to help you work through the store paperwork and finish up the process.
Yep, $100 gets you from start to finish on your pistol purchase.
This is a pretty unusual offer. In fact, we know of no one else offering this. We realize this might be appealing to some folks. It can be intimidating navigating these early waters. You have a heart to protect but this is all new. We understand and we can help you out.

To begin a training relationship. The hope is if you feel comfortable with us in this process, then you’ll feel comfortable training with us down the road. And lets face it, acquiring a pistol is a great responsibility. Training is paramount to ensuring your safe handling of the weapon, and your ability to protect others if the need should arise.
